A former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has reminded the Federal Government that it has two months left to start manufacturing airplanes as promised by the immediate past administration.
He reminded the government of Tinubu as the deadline gets closer.
Recall that the ex-Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika announced that Nigeria will commence the manufacturing of aircrafts before the end of 2023.
Sirika disclosed this in 2021 after he paid an inspection visit to an airplane manufacturing company in Pogany, Hungary.
The former minister emphasized that the local production of aircraft in the country will facilitate the growth of Nigeria as a regional aviation superpower as it will also come with maintenance and repair facilities that will attract patronage from neighbouring countries.
