Olori Ashley Celebrates First Wedding Anniversary With Ooni

On Saturday, Olori Ashley Folasade Adeyeye-Ogunwusi expressed her heartfelt affection for her husband, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, as they celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

Their union took place on Friday, October 14, 2022, just three days prior to the Ooni’s 48th birthday. The dedicated social media enthusiast shared that her love for him has deepened over the years.

She wrote via Instagram, “As we celebrate yet another beautiful year together, a new dawn, I want you to know just how deeply you touch my heart. Your love for me and for humanity has filled my life with happiness, warmth, and a sense of purpose I never knew before.

“You are not just my husband; you are my god on earth, the love of my life, my best friend, my safe place, my father and my greatest source of strength. Your unwavering support and the way you make even the ordinary moments extraordinary mean the world to me.

“I love you more than words can express, and I have grown to love you more and more over the years. I am eternally grateful to have you by my side as my husband today and for always. I celebrate us today Akande Mii Ajiwe Fun’Osha and I pray this time next year we will have more reason to celebrate with our heavenly blessings lase Olodumare ati gbogbo awon Onile.”

The queen added, “Ade Ori Mi, Oko Mi, though the enemies tried to destroy our union we have built over the years, but Olodumare stood tall for us and always fought our battles for us. May Olodumare always be our light and path to enlightenment and happiness forevermore. Ase wa.”

Some people believe Ashley was a factor in the crash of the Ooni’s marriages to Zainab-Otiti Obanor and Silekunola Naomi.

There are reports that the reason they did not get married earlier was that Ashley has a daughter with another man.
