On Monday, October 16, the Court of Appeal declared Senator Ishaku Abbo’s election as the representative for the Adamawa Northern Senatorial District invalid
In its decision, the court mandated that INEC recall the Certificate of Return sent to Senator Abbo and reissue it to Rev.Amos Yohanna Kumai a PDP member.
In the National Assembly election on February 25, 2023, Abbo ran under the APC banner and was declared the winner by INEC.
