Ebonyi State Government has won a cash price of N500m for the best performing South East State in the Primary Health Care Leadership Challenge funded by UNICEF.
This was was made known to our correspondent by Mr. Leo Oketa, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State.
According to him, “Having won the price for the best perfoming South East State in the Primary Health Care Leadership Challenge, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is not resting on his laurels.”
“He is calling on all the Stakeholders in the State to join their various Local Government Areas in flagging off of the State’s routine immunization exercise on Thursday, October 19, 2023 for children between 9-19 months old. The State flag off exercise will be done at Mother and Child Health Centre (MCH), Azuiyokwu on the same day.”
“Kudos to the hard working Commissioner for Health Ebonyi State, Dr. Moses Ekuma, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Primary Health, Dr. Sabinus Nwibo and the performing Executive Secretary, Ebonyi State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Philip Ovuoba.”
