Police Declare Influencer Killaboi Wanted Months After Confessing to Killing Girlfriend

The Lagos State Police Command has officially declared Benjamin Nnanyereugo, a well-known gambler who goes by the alias Killaboi, as a wanted individual. This action follows Killaboi’s shocking confession on Instagram, where he admitted to the tragic killing of his girlfriend, Augusta Osedion.

Killaboi, aged 26, disclosed back in July that he had “mistakenly” stabbed his girlfriend during a heated argument. He went on to reveal that fear had compelled him to flee the scene, and he had been struggling with suicidal thoughts ever since.

Despite the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirming that the case was under investigation, Killaboi has managed to remain at large.

Adding to this unsettling scenario, another individual, a singer by the name of Primeboy, has also been declared wanted by the police. This development came about due to Primeboy’s alleged failure to cooperate with authorities in connection to the death of his childhood friend, Mohbad. This case has stirred significant interest among Nigerians on social media platform X.

However, on Tuesday, the Police Command declared Killaboi wanted, saying all available options to bring him in had failed.

The statement said, “The Lagos State Police Command hereby declares wanted Benjamin Best Nnanyereugo.

“Nnanyereugo is suspected to have murdered his girlfriend, 21-year-old Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion, on July 13, 2023 in his Oral Estate, Ajah home. Following the exhaustion of all available options to bring him in, he is declared wanted.

“The suspect is 26 years old, approximately 5’9 ft tall and hails from Abia State. He is dark in complexion and speaks English, Igbo and pidgin English fluently.

“If seen, please contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727.”
