Manchester United midfielder, Christian Eriksen has identified the areas his team need to improve following their UEFA Champions League 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
Eriksen also admitted that Manchester United’s dressing room was ‘very quiet’ following the disappointing home defeat to Galatasaray.
Speaking after the game, the Denmark international said this at his post-match interview: “It’s a big disappointment.
“It was very quiet in the dressing room. I think we had some good spells in the game, but in the end, when we went ahead, we conceded shortly after and of course, that makes it difficult to stay in the game.
“That is something we have to change, and quickly. I don’t think it is confidence, it is more awareness and sharpness to really keep our form.
“Going ahead twice, you shouldn’t throw that away and we’ve done that in some other games this season.
“I don’t think it’s confidence, I think it is sharpness and wrong decisions at the wrong times and a bit of bad luck following us around at the moment.”
Man United will now shift their attention to the Premier League as they will face Brentford on Saturday at home
