At the entrance to Ilupeju, a nearby community of the Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), in Ekiti State, a fatal road accident claimed the lives of three people.
In the wee hours of Friday, September 15, 2023, the victims—identified as Oyinkansola, a 300-level mass communication student at FUOYE, her brother, and a commercial motorcyclist—were crushed to death by a truck.
Recently, Oyinkansola’s brother received his varsity diploma; he also runs a Unisex Salon.
A video from the scene of the accident was posted on social media by @Idris_Aloma, who identified himself as a FUOYE student.
“This occurred right here at Federal University Oye Ekiti, where I study.
Owner of Passion, a unisex salon, and his younger sister perished in a horrifying accident.
May God grant them eternal peace, he wrote.
