On X this morning, singer Skales and DSP Bright Edafe, spokesperson for the Delta state police command, got into a fight over the passing of Mohbad, a 27-year-old singer.
Skales had gone to the microblogging platform to inquire as to whether Nigeria still has a police force.
He reportedly posed the query after viewing a video of the murdered singer being bullied on a recording studio. There have been rumors that he was threatened and degraded by some professionals in the field.
Skales posted on X, asking, “Police no de this country?” Edafe saw it and replied, stating that Twitter is not a police station and that anyone who feels they have been wronged should file a formal complaint at a police station.
Skales reacted negatively to Edafe’s response after noticing his remark.
