“I am aware that Enugu State under Peter Mbah has struck agreements with partners and multilateral agencies to bring development to Ndi Enugu. “Dr Mbah has successfully signed into law the Enugu State Power law, which domesticates the Electricity Act 2023, and developed the Enugu State Electricity Policy, which gives the State regulatory power to establish an Enugu State Electricity Market and attract investors to expand power generation and distribution across Enugu.
“The last Economic Roundtable few weeks ago attracted both public and private sector development partners, including AfDB, AFREXIM,FCDO, the World Bank etc, who have shown great interest in investing in our State.
“In no time at all, our Governor would begin the refurbishment of at least 260 Primary Health Care Centres and construction of 260 model basic schools across the wards in order to bring quality education and health to every Enugu citizen. Work is also starting for the rehabilitation of 81 urban roads and construction of 2 fly over bridges in the state.
“We are also aware that the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Stadium is undergoing surface re-laying.
“Salaries of teachers and gratuities are also being reviewed to give them a human face so that Enugu workers and pensioners can begin to truly have a feel of life.
“For these strides under 100 days, and a lot more not mentioned, I am confident that Enugu people are very fortunate with Dr Peter Mbah as our Governor.
