Actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, widely recognized as RMD, recently expressed his perspective on the challenges of marriage.
In an interview with comedian Teju Babyface on Tuesday, the 62-year-old shared his thoughts, drawing comparisons between women and the biblical figures Delilah and Jezebel.
“If you’re in the kind of line of work we are in it is very hard because let’s face it, every one of us that is married, we are the target. I mean look at how women are, how can you escape it? Women are like Delilah, they are like Jezebel. They prepare,” he said.
RMD, whose full name is Richard Mofe-Damijo, has been married to Jumobi Adegbesan for 22 years following the unfortunate passing of his first wife, Ellen Mofe-Damijo, due to complications arising from surgery.
He is a father of five, with three of his children being from his marriage to Ellen and the remaining two from his union with Jumobi.
