The eleven-year-old daughter of a police officer was killed by armed bandits in Gusau, the state capital of Zamfara.
Hauwa’u Lawali, the victim, was killed after she was abducted at her father’s home in the Saminaka neighborhood of Gusau.
On Sunday night, September 3, 2023, the bandits reportedly broke into the home of the police officer assigned to the Zamfara Police Command in order to kidnap him.
But they snatched his daughter away.
In a report from igberetv, the girl’s kidnappers claimed that they shot the girl dead on Monday as she was being taken to the bush after realizing that security personnel were pursuing them.
Police officials in Zamfara have confirmed the incident and stated that troops are still pursuing the terrorists in the bush.
The victim’s parents, Lawali and Ikilima, received condolences from the person who confirmed the incident.
“This little girl was kidnapped by kidnappers last night, Sunday, September 3rd, 2023, and was reportedly killed on Monday, September 4th, 2023, in the Saminaka neighborhood of Gusau metropolis, Zamfara state.
May her kind soul rest in Jannatul Firdaus, and may Allah, the Almighty, grant her parents and the entire Muslim Ummah the grace to bear the irreparable loss. May Allah’s curse descend upon her murderers both now and in the hereafter.
Her dearest father Lawali and his wife Ikilima, as well as other family members and friends, have my sincere condolences, he wrote.
