The police officers allegedly involved in the state’s recent assault on a woman have been detained by the Rivers state police command.
In a video that went viral on Friday, September 1, a woman was heard cursing police officers for allegedly hitting her sister during a stop-and-search in the Rivers State neighborhood of Ada George, which led to a broken lip.
The police stated in a status update posted on its X account today, September 4.
