Nigeria’s high commissioner to the UK, Sarafa Isola, has been called back by President Bola Tinubu.
This was stated in a letter dated August 31 and signed by the foreign affairs minister, Yusuf Tuggar.
The text said;.
I have the honor of informing you of Mr. Dot President’s decision to recall you, which marks the end of your appointment as the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
By virtue of this communication, you are now required to start the process of winding up your affairs, formally resign from your host government within sixty days, and travel back to Nigeria by the latest date of October 31, 2023.
The ambassador was thanked by Tuggar for his service and given his best wishes for the future.
