In Niger State, suspected terrorists have abducted ACM Shuaibu Umar Bashir, an officer with the Nigerian Air Force.
On August 20, 2023, Sunday, Nashir was kidnapped along Birnin Gwari Road.
Family sources told igberetv that the terrorists also demanded N10 million in ransom from the officer’s relatives within three days.
ACM Bashir was reportedly being taken hostage by the terrorists as he returned to his station to resume his duties.
“The military and NAF officials have declined to interact with his family.
He was returning to his post to finish up his work.
He had been dispatched to Niger State.
However, a family source claimed that he was taken hostage on Birnin Gwari Road in Niger State.
Another source added, “He was taken on Sunday, and it doesn’t seem like the military is doing enough to free him.
