Shuaibu Audu, the newly appointed minister of steel development, has outlined the necessity of reviving Ajaokuta Steel Company.
Among other things, Audu, who reaffirmed his commitment to revitalizing the shuttered steel plant, promised to establish a roadmap for the industry’s growth, vigorously pursue Ajaokuta Steel’s completion, and pass the necessary legislation to regulate the steel industry.
He stated.
“Our former leaders understood how important steel development was, but they lacked the political will to see its goals through.
