Imo Guber: Anyanwu, Onyeriri Visit To Ikenga Throws Heavy Panic in Gov Uzodinma's Camp

The race for who will occupy Imo Douglas House after November Poll is becoming very interesting as candidates are making political moves on daily basis, seeking endorsement from stakeholders and electorates in the state.

The reconciliation visit by the candidate of the peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, his running mate Honourable Jones Onyeriri To the member representing Ideato North And South in the federal house of representatives, Ikenga Ugochinyere on Monday, is said to have sent panics in the camp of Governor Hope Uzodinma.

 

A reliable Authority in camp of the incumbent Govenor, revealed to our correspondent that the reconciliation visit to Ikenga Ugochinyere I his Constituency Office Abuja is a big surprise to them in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

 

 

The source, spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity, said that the PDP candidate is moving round and recording breakthroughs despite the challenges of disunity in the PDP.

 

 

It could be recalled that since after the party held it’s 2023 primary elections in the State, this will be the first time the candidate of the PDP, Samuel Anyanwu and his Running mate Jones Onyeriri are meeting with Ikenga Ugochinyere whom many believed that they are having political unacceptabilities.

 

Ikenga’s recent Meeting with Anyanwu and Jones on Monday, according to our source was centered on the November 11 Imo governorship poll, Imo Unity, reconciliation and security.

 

The source further revealed to our correspondent that Ikenga Ugochinyere promised to announce his preferred candidate for Imo governorship poll after wider consultation with his Ideato Constituents and Imo people in generality.
