The incident occurred on August 17, 2023, according to State Police Command spokesperson DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam.
According to the PPRO, “Police received a report on August 17, 2023, at approximately 1100 hours, that Samaila Ilu, 35, of Dungun Tantama Village, Hausa Local Government, had left his home on August 16, 2023, for an unidentified location.
Samaila’s body was found with a rope attached to a tree, according to Shiisu.
The body was taken by a group of police officers, who then transported it to the hospital for an autopsy.
After that, according to the spokesperson, the body was given to his family to be buried.
