The University of Calabar’s administration has opened an investigation into claims of sexual harassment made against Prof., the Dean of the Faculty of Law. Cyril Ndifo.
Recall that some law students had staged a protest, holding up placards that read, “Ndifon must go for our sanity,” “We are tired of buying law journals,” “We are tired of lecturers not attending classes,” and “Law girls are not your bonanza; Prof. Stop grabbing us and other people, Ndifon. “.
Ndifon denied the claim, but Eyo Bassey, a university spokesperson, claimed that the school’s administration had spoken with the parties who had been wronged.
He said to the newsmen.
“The vice chancellor had extended an invitation. The Faculty of Law employees were given the opportunity to voice any grievances they may have had in front of management and senior faculty members.
They discussed many issues and spoke. Accusations of sexual misconduct are not the only issue. The management commended them for bringing the issues to their attention. They also brought up a variety of other issues.
