A school boy of about 10 years old who was hit by a driver in Umuahia yesterday has been diagnosed with traumatic brain injury.
The boy, Osinachi Martins who was knocked down by a vehicle along Mission Hill, Umuahia, Abia State has been diagnosed with a “traumatic brain injury at the Federal Medical Center Umuahia.
An eyewitness told Igbere TV reporters that a driver of a Sienna Vehicle who knocked him down took him to the Federal Medical Center and allegedly pretended that he wasn’t the one because nobody followed him from the scene of the incident.
It was also said that the boy went for a Holiday lesson in a Church school along that Mission Hill and had crossed the main road before the Sienna driver knock him down.
As at the time of filling this report, the said driver is no where to be found while the hospital management is doing their best to attend to the victim.
