According to an order read out on national television on Thursday, the Nigerian military leaders who took control of the country in a coup last month have established a new government.
The new military governing council’s generals will serve as the defense and interior ministers, and Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine will preside over the 21-member government.
