The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas LPG locally called cooking gas has dropped to Between N500 and N650 from N850 in major cities across the country.
This is a good news for many Nigerians who are converting their power generators from use of premium motor Spirit PMS to compressed Natural Gas CNG and LPG in the wake of hike in petrol pump price arising from subsidy removal by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
A Lagos resident who confirmed the development to IgbereTV said:
“I bought it at N670 early last month.Today the bike man took me to a filling station here in Berger where they sell it for N500.
“When he first told me that it’s N500 per kg, I didn’t believe him until I got there.”
