The ruling All Progressives Congress APC have adopted Senator Opeyemi Bamidele from Ekiti State as Senate Leader for the 10th Assembly, IgbereTV has learned.
According to the Nation Newspaper, the party also adopted Senator Dave Umahi from Ebonyi State as Deputy Senate Leader, Senator Ali Ndume from Borno State as Chief Whip and Senator Lola Ashiru from Kwara State as Deputy Chief Whip.
The Senate had on June 13, 2023 elected Senators Godswill Akpabio and Jibrin Barau as Senate President and Deputy president respectively.
