David Tyavkase will return as a player-coach for Lobi Stars in the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier League season
Tyavkase’s desire to get into management has brought about a return to the Pride of Benue, a position that will see him develop as a coach and continue playing.
The former CAF Champions League winner will work alongside Tar Akombo on an interim basis pending the return of head coach Mohammed Babaganaru or appointment of new gaffer.
“I am very excited with the opportunity that Lobi Stars have provided me with,” Tyavkase told DAILY POST in Eket.
“I am looking forward to getting started with the team. I will certainly bring positive changes to the team.
“I must also take this opportunity to thank Lobi Stars and our fans for the support they gave throughout my career. I want them to know that I will give my all in support of our collective target.”
