Yusuf appoints 14 aides, Kano Revenue Service, Emergency Agency heads

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has appointed Sani Abdulkadir Dambo as the Chairman of Kano State Internal Revenue Service (KIRS).

The appointee is a senior manager at the Tax Audit department of the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) in Abuja.

He is a graduate of Accounting from Bayero University, Kano and has a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Dambo is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in Nigeria (CITN) and has 20 years experience in tax administration.

Yusuf also approved the appointment of Isyaku Abdullahi Kubarachi as Executive Secretary, State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).

A statement on Thursday night by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature directed the officials to resume today, June 16.

Also appointed are 14 personal aides of Yusuf, including Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), Special Assistants (SAs) and Personal Assistants (PAs).
