Zamfara command investigating missing government vehicles – Police PRO

The Zamfara State Police says it has begun investigations into complaints of missing government vehicles.

A press statement signed and issued to newsmen in Gusau, the state capital by the police spokesman, Yazid Abubakar asked members of the public with useful information about the missing vehicles to come forward with such information to assist the investigation.

“Persons who feel their vehicles were wrongfully taken during search warrants in the course of this investigation are advised to produce proof of ownership to claim such vehicles”, the statement said.

“Members of the public will be duly informed of the outcome of this Investigation and are further advised to desist from spreading false information to mislead the public which is capable of inciting disturbance that can attract arrest and prosecution.”
