IgbereTV has obtained footage of the stealth operation by Operatives of the Department of State Services DSS leading to the arrest of suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
We had reported that DSS arrested the embattled former central banker in Lagos State.
Sources informed IgbereTV correspondent that Emefiele’s arrest came as he was allegedly attempting to flee the country through a land border.
The video of his arrest shows his being taken by DSS officials to an aircraft from Lagos to the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
This development follows a series of events that started with his suspension by President Bola Tinubu.
