The Nigerian senior national team, the Super Eagles has suffered a major setback in its pursuit of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze to represent the country at international level after Eze reportedly received a call up from England’s Three Lions.

Eze is one of three players from Crystal Palace included in the 25-man squad made released to the public on Wednesday afternoon.
The youngster has been superb this season for the Eagles and has been rewarded with his first-ever international invitation to the Three Lions.
The Super Eagles have been on the trail of the talented attacking midfielder to wear the colours of Nigeria at international level.
But despite all the efforts to get him, it appears that Nigeria can now cut the chase following a maiden invite to the England national side.
