Police Operatives from “B” Division in Warri, Delta State in the early hours of Thursday, gunned down a suspected armed robber.
DAILY POST can report that the suspect was killed at 1st Marine Gate in Warri, during an exchange of gunfire with the Police.
Other gang members reportedly, escaped with serious gunshot wounds.
It is not clear yet if the Police recovered any guns from the deceased suspects.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a telephone chat with our correspondent.
The Police image maker said, “It’s only one suspect that was killed.”
He, however, did not say if any arms or ammunition was recovered from the suspect
