The fact that supporters of President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu have taken over Abuja’s Unity Fountain to continue celebrating the Jagaban’s victory in the recently concluded presidential elections is no longer news.
They have vowed to keep the popular place till Tinubu is sworn in as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
There doesn’t appear to be much use in chatting further as today is Day 26 of the pre-inauguration hangout and things are already getting started. Instead, if you truly want to enjoy Abuja’s Sallah celebrations, prepare to go to the Unity Fountain.
There is much to eat and drink, as well as plenty of entertainment as side attractions, and the exchanging of gifts in accordance with the Eid celebration season.
