A heavy protest has erupted in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State after a Fulani tricycle (Keke) rider stabbed his male passenger to death.
Eyewitnesses told our correspondent that the victim, an Epie indigene and the driver had an argument over a N50 change in the state’s capital.
While in the middle of the altercation, the Keke rider brought out a “poisoned” dagger and stabbed the “father of four” to death.
As of the time of filing this report angry community youths have beaten and burnt the Keke rider to death.
The victim is said to be resident in Abuja and only returned to Bayelsa after his wife’s delivery recently.
