Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka was captured begging God to forgive Nigerians for giving man the glory meant for God, IGBERETV reports.
The Catholic Priest said that during the just concluded elections, Nigerians referred to the father, mother, and child in a political party’s logo as “God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” while encouraging people to vote for the party’s candidate.
However, he did not mention the name of the party. But the Labour Party has father, mother, and child in its logo.
“They took the glory meant for God and gave to a human, so the anger of God befell us,” Mbaka told his members. Afterwards, he knelt at the altar to ask God for forgiveness.
