Former Arsenal defender, Philippe Senderos, has identified the club’s captain Martin Odegaard as an ‘unselfish’ player.
Senderos also likened Odegaard to Arsenal’s former captain Cesc Fabregas, saying the Norway international is influential like the Spaniard.
Odegaard has been impressive for Mikel Arteta’s side so far this season.
The midfielder has scored ten goals and registered eight assists in 28 Premier League appearances for Arsenal so far.
“[Fabregas was] Very influential. You can see that in Odegaard as well. Very influential for Arsenal again,” Senderos told Stadium Astro.
“He is unselfish, he runs for the team, he does what needs to be done for the team. He doesn’t do things to make himself look better, but he does what the team needs.”
