The Player and Goal of the Month award in the Nigeria Premier Football League for March has been suspended.
The awards will not be doled out due to shortage of fixtures last month.
The second stanza of the 2022/23 NPFL season kicked off last weekend after the country’s general election.
There were only two matchdays (10 and 11) in March.
The award organisers said through a release that both fixtures will be considered alongside NPFL fixtures for April.
Enyimba’s Chukwuemeka Obioma won the Player of the Month award for February, while Bendel Insurance scooped the Coach of the Month prize.
