Senator representing Enugu East and former Enugu State Governor, Chimaroke Nnamani has declared support for Labour Party’s Kelvin Chukwu, who has won the Enugu East Senatorial Election, IGBERETV reports.
His tweets read;
“On a lighter note, being a liberal, I know his emergence will pain my detractors more than myself. I also believe his victory will serve even minimally as a soothing balm for the loss of his brother. I truly wish him well. And thank God for an uneventful exit. #Chimaroke”

“As one who has mentored many young people. I am glad I am giving space to a younger Nkanu man. Enthused by the changes and potentials of being a Senator will bring to him and our people. He will serve as a role model and veritable tool to inspire many. #Chimaroke”

“Why would my votes tally reduce at the end and remain relatively same at 300 hundreds levels across all the wards. The ebeano structure is far above that. Getting 48k votes under these circumstances is big deal. No hard feelings. I support Kelvin Chukwu. #Chimaroke”
