A young Nigerian farmer, Mr Hibiscus Onugwu has lost over N1 million worth of birds to the rain while trying to deliver polling unit close to him for Peter Obi of Labour Party.

Speaking with IGBERE TV correspondent over lost, Mr. Onugwu said his zeal for a better Nigeria, he was at his polling unit when it started raining heavily.

 

“”Before we could finish collation and counting of results, it was already late”, he said.

According to him, “These set of birds that I lost were brought in on 27th of January, 2023. Yesterday being 25th February, due to my zeal for a better Nigeria, I was at my polling unit when it started raining heavily.

“”Before we could finish collation and counting of results, it was already late”, said Mr Onugwu.

He therefore call on Nigerians not to relent in their efforts to take back our country as he is no deterred by the loss.

Our correspondent in Owerri reports that Thousands of birds were affected due to stamped and clustering.

The affected farm is located in Okuku in owerri west LGA imo state.
