U-2O AFCON: Flying Eagles to hit overseas training camp late January

The Flying Eagles will storm Morocco or Spain for a training tour at the end of this month.

Ladan Bosso’s side, according to camp sources will train in either North Africa for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The seven-time African champions will resume camping ahead of the competition on January 7, 2023.

Bosso has already extended invitations to a number of foreign-based players who are expected to link up with their teammates in Abuja when the camp reopens.

The Flying Eagles are drawn in Group A along with hosts Egypt Mozambique, and Senegal for the U-20 AFCON.

They will face Senegal in their opening fixture of the competition at the Cairo International Stadium on February 19.
