The vice presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Isaac Idahosa has ruled out a possible merger with other political parties ahead of the 2023 elections but said his party is open for those that wants to join, IgbereTV reports 

Idahosa stated this on Channels Television’s Politic Today programme on Monday, adding that the NNPP is confident of emerging victorious at the polls come February 2023.

 

 

 

 

“Although it is for other parties to want to align with the NNPP, not us trying to. Merger is over as you know that one. For those who deem it fit to join us, we are open, we are open to alignments and coming together to ensuring that we bring about a viable government that is what we are up to doing is open,” he said.

Idahosa, who is the Bishop of Illumination Assembly, Ajah, Lagos also said that the NNPP is widely accepted across the nation, especially at the grassroot.

The running mate to Rabiu Kwankwaso stated that Nigeria will be better if it has a leader who not just talks but walk the talk.
