‘2 Heads Still Better Than 1?’ Apostle Suleman Queries After Comparing $100 and N1,000 Notes

The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, has subtly lashed out at the current value of Nigerian currency, Naira.

The outspoken pastor, who narrowly escaped assassination attempt some days ago, in a tweet on Friday on his verified Twitter handle, shared a picture of N1,000 note which has portraits of two persons and that of $100 that has a single portrait on it, and wondered why people keep saying two heads are better than one.

“And someone still believes in ‘2heads is better than one’?Mtcheeew..”, Suleman said.

Suleman’s comments come in the wake of reports that the naira note has fallen to N900 in the black market following an announcement by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to redesign the N200, N500 and N1,000 notes.

According to the CBN, its decision to redesign the notes stems from the fact that there is too much money in circulation and less in bank vaults.

Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently raided some bureaux de change centres. The agency did not state its reason for the move. It is however believed to be connected to the free fall of the naira.
