Former Aviation Minister, Mister Femi Fani-Kayode, has withdrawn an attempted murder suit filed against his estranged wife, Ms Precious Chikwendu, IgbereTV reports
Prosecution counsel, John Ijagbemi, told Justice Inyang Ekwo of a Federal High Court, Abuja shortly after the matter was called for the defendants to take a plea on Thursday, that they would be withdrawing the suit.
He said the withdrawal of the charge was as provided in Section 108 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), 2015.
Counsel to Ms Chikwendu, Peter Abang, did not oppose the request for Justice Ekwo to dismiss the suit.
