Jubilation as Asaga Ohafia Hosts Sen Kalu's Project Assessment Train (Photos)

 

Shortly after departing Okon-Aku , Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu proceeded to Asaga Ohafia where he is now being hosted by the entire community. As at time of filing this report, Senator Kalu is being hosted by town’s elders and Traditional leaders.

Amongst Kalu’s team are the Managing Director and Chief executive Officer of the Nigerian Film Corporation , Dr. Chidia Maduekwe and the Public Complaints Commission,commissioner Dr. Maduka Ukaegbu ,former Speaker of the Abia House of Assembly, Chief Arua Arunsi amongst others.

Senator Kalu was briefly hosted by the Town’s council chiefs at the village square presided by HRH. Eze Emmanuel Kalu Kalu Onugu the Ezeogo of Asaga Ohafia.

Addressing Kalu Eze Emmanuel lauded Kalu for his interventions in their community stressing that the tenure of the Senator Kalu at the Senate has ushered good tidings into their community.

Minutes after the reception, Orji Kalu advanced to the public town hall where he was welcomed to a jubilant crowd of women and youth groups early seated and waiting for Orji Kalu’s arrival.

Enumerating his achievements and challenges at the Senate , Kalu explained that the current projects in the community were those catalogued in the 2019-2021 budget year. A major climax of the engagement was the presentation of farm produce of food items by the Bianko women Age Grade to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
