Abia-NorthProjectTour: Joyful Nnaeato Reassures Sen. Kalu of full Support as People’s Senator Arrives Community | #IgbereTV
Trooping out in jubilant mood, constituents of Nnaeato currently hosting their AbiaNorth Senate representive ,Senator Orji Uzor Kalu have redeclared their pledge to re-elect Kalu and the All Progressive’s Congress in the 2023 general elections.
The constituents made the declaration at on going mid term report tour initiated by the Senate Chief Whip to take stock of views, opinions and gaps on Orji Kalu’s investment in delivering qualitative infrastructure and human empowerment projects since his election in 2019.
Speaking on behalf of the community gathered at Ebelebe Hall at Nnaeato Comrade Ezeugbo Uwabunkeonye who represented the President General of Nnaeato community outlined Kalu’s projects and interventions to the community which include; Water boreholes at Achara and Ezioba , distribution of school textbooks to students of both secondary and primary schools , AroIkpa and Achara roads amongst others.
While appreciating Kalu the community narrated their security challenges and appealed for additional road projects. Responding Kalu dispelled the mischievous narrative propagated by politicians that the cattle market he sited at Lopkanta as Governor of Abia as the cause of security problems experienced by the community.
Explaining further, Kalu disclosed that the original purpose of the creation of cattle market was to serve as business venture to generate revenue for both the community and the government, he expressed his disappointment that the cattle market has since devatied from its major purpose for which it was created due to vested political interests.
Concluding the community appreciated Kalu while restating their commitment to work towards re-electing him back to the Senate.
