Wike vs Atiku: If Elections Are Held Today in Nigeria ‘Emilokan’ Will Emerge Winner – Abia Trade Commissioner | #IgbereTV
I still cannot see what Wike has done wrong in the current imbroglio within PDP. It is the job of the candidate (Atiku) to reunite all party men after a rancourous convention where hopes were dashed. The onus is on him to pacify Wike and others who have one reason or another to complain.
Sincerely, if our candidate cannot give Gov Wike sufficient comfort to work with the party he has failed leadership 101 course. Someone running on “unifier” must be able to first unify all interests in his own party, which is smaller than Nigeria, as proof of capacity.
Spreading fake news on Wike suing the party by proxy or otherwise is a no brainer to me.
What does Wike want in actual fact?
Possibly to change the national chairman and assure him of his political future under PDP. Is that too much to ask for in a party that wants the Presidency from a ruling party that nominated the worse possible candidate? There is no way we can remain with an all-north party leadership and the rest of us will be comfortable as party members and stakeholders.
You can fund folks to go to Cable TV and social media platforms to attack Wike but when it is crunch time those guys won’t even win a polling unit even if there life depends on it.
For the records, I am also not comfortable with an all north PDP leadership so feel free to hire those that will insult me but note that they can’t force me to vote one way or another. Moreover, I can still vote PDP as an individual without moving a leg to help the party win. All of us need reason to do the extra and the most we want is fairness at a time what belongs to us in the south was taken.
Ask Ayu to step down now and beg Anyim Pius to lead the party to victory.
Please cut Wike some slacks and focus on doing the needful. It is time to test our candidate’s capacity to unify as the “unifier”.
By the way, those of you massaging whoever’s ego must know that if elections are held today in Nigeria “Emilokan” will emerge winner. Argue with whoever you wish to, my political dashboard confirms my position. The only good news is that things can still change in favor of “Unifier” if we all do the needful, but time is ticking.
