Abia APC: Ikechi Emenike Divisive, Treacherous, Dubious And Wicked - Party Chieftain

Abia APC: Ikechi Emenike Divisive, Treacherous, Dubious And Wicked – Party Chieftain | #IgbereTV

Reading through a post by a faceless group “The Abia Rescue Movement” sponsored by Chief Ikechi Emenike, a factional guber candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State, I became bothered that such a man seeking to take charge of the affairs of Abia State could be so divisive, treacherous, dubious and wicked.

What surprised me the most was the impunity with which they tried to misrepresent clear narratives just to assassinate the character and distort the reputation of Distinguished Senator Orji Uzor kalu. It is known to Abians and also verifiable that abntv.com.ng is the web address of an online media channel owned by an Ohafia born entrepreneur and business man, Mr. Ifeanyi Okali, but Chief Ikechi Emenike through his faceless group lied to Abians that abntv.com.ng is owned by Senator Dr. Orji Uzor kalu. For the records, people can go to BCA Junction by Azikiwe where abntv has its head office to enquire about the ownership of the online media firm.

Ikechi Emenike

Ordinarily I would not dignify Chief Ikechi Emenike and his charlatans with my response, but to set the record straight it is important that the mischievous narratives being peddled by Chief Ikechi Emenike’s assembly of zoonguards be addressed.

We were all in All Progressives Congress Prior to 2022 and were contributing in our individual capacities to the growth of the party. While we fought for the growth of the party, Chief Ikechi Emenike constituted himself into an agent of division and instability in the party. He was so recalcitrant that a disagreement that cost the party an opportunity to win the seat of government of Abia State in 2019 ensued between him and his army of outlaws in the party, and the then executive committee of the party in the state led by Chief Donatus Nwankpa.

Chief Ikechi Emenike became such an embarrassment to the the All Progressives Congress to the extent that the then national chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshomole had to during his speech at Umuahia township stadium in the buildup to the 2019 election described him as a mole in the party. Comrade Adams Oshomole before the entirety of the crowd of APC supporters laid a curse on Chief Emenike that his life will be filled with troubles as he has made himself a source of trouble for the All Progressives Congress.

It is obvious that Chief Ikechi Emenike’s life is today filled with so much troubles that he is now going about looking for who to engage in unwarranted attacks.

Much as Senator Orji Uzor kalu and Hon. Mascot Uzor kalu are brothers, their political lives and destinies are not tied to each other. Dr. Orji Uzor kalu has his political dreams to pursue as much as Hon. Mascot has his to pursue, and the decision on the platform on which to pursue such dreams remains their individual exclusive preserve.

Hon. Mascot as an independent fellow and politician has the right to pursue his political aspirations on any platform that he deems favourable, and in making such decision he owes no apology whatsoever to anyone or group, except his numerous supporters and fans.

While we were in APC, Hon. Mascot committed his time, money and even energy in sustaining the party in Abia State, but each time there was opportunity to compensate him as a faithful party man Chief Emenike and his Army of rebels will come up with arguments that he should not be given what is due to him because his brother, Dr. Orji Uzor kalu is a Senator. This trend happened consistently and forced Hon. Mascot Uzor kalu to realize that remaining in APC will amount to gradually lowering his dreams and aspirations into a political grave hence, he decided to join the Action People’s Party, an existing national political party where he believed he had chances of achieving his political pursuits.

As a friend and supporter of Hon. Mascot Uzor kalu, I aligned with his vision when he informed me of the intent to defect to the APP, and with other of his teaming supporters in APC we moved to the Action People’s Party (APP) despite moves by Sen. Dr. Orji Uzor kalu and other chieftains of the All Progressives Congress to stop our defection.

Yes, we respect Sen. Orji Uzor kalu as a brother, leader and elder statesman, but when it comes to planning our political future he can only advise, but will not determine for us what decisions to take and what not to take.

One thing is obvious, Chief Ikechi Emenike haven seen the level of acceptance of the gubernatorial candidature of Hon. Mascot Uzor kalu by Abians and the rate at which Abians have rejected his(Chief Ikechi Emenike’s) guber aspiration, has become jittery and is looking for who to pull down the valley of failure with him hence, the unwarranted attacks on the person of Senator Dr. Orji Uzor kalu.

We in APP are not bothered about the rantings by Chief Ikechi Emenike and his e-sycophants, Abians are happy with us and that is all that matters.
High Chief Ikechi Emenike should be ashamed of himself by dragging and/or blaming and political party for his undo is his party.
When we were in APC,he (Emenike) was behaving as he has a factory where human beings are been produced, why is he running from pillars to poles begging for reconciliation of those who he showed no respect or regards.
I knew opportunities were twice given to Emenike to reconcile with other Party leaders in Abia and he and his cohorts claimed having a running stomach, one of those opportunities headed by Hope Uzodinma of Imo State and another headed by the present National Chairman of APC…in all , Emenike constituted himself as a sole proprietor of APC which led to our decision to a abandoned the party to APP and we have no apologies.
Emenike has no electoral values in Abia State and should not behave as he doesn’t know that…Abians will soon speak through ballots..
