Osun: Obidients Stop Saying "We No Dey Give Shishi" but "We Give Responsibly" - Awuzie

Osun: Obidients Stop Saying “We No Dey Give Shishi” but “We Give Responsibly” – Awuzie | #IgbereTV

1. Electronic Transmission is a game changer. We must thank the Buhari government for this phenomenal legacy. Keep politics aside and embrace facts. Buhari has contributed to the evolution of our electoral process.
With electronic Transmission, rigging has become difficult. Popular candidates can win elections if they put in more efforts. This means that Peter Obi stands a better chance of winning in 2023 than in the past.

This also means that Tinubu and Atiku will no longer rely on old tricks and connections to win elections. The equation has changed. It’s an entirely new political regime in Nigeria.

2. Osun no be Lagos…
If there’s anything we should learn from #OsunDecides2022 , it’s that the demigod of Lagos politics has no influence outside Lagos State. He is losing elections in his own South West. You think the people who voted Adeleke will vote Tinubu? The South West is divided between PDP and APC. This election further demystifies BAT.

Osun State is also a clear rebellion of the electorates against the arrogance of MM ticket. This rebellion will be repeated at the presidential level. Truly, Osun no be Lagos and Nigeria no be Agbado Republic. Buhari was the major selling point of APC. In 2015, Buhari was a mystery until he got into power and was demystified. Besides Tinubu’s CV as a veteran election winner in pre-ET era, what else is his selling point?
2023 is not 2015. Wake Up.

3. Nigerians are not Voting Party, they are voting PERSONALITY…

There are screenshots of Osun voters who said they voted for Adeleke and not PDP and will Vote Peter Obi too.
This is a growing sentiment in our national politics. People are dumping religious and regional politics to vote who they believe will make their lives easier. Again, 2023 will shock us.

4. Labour Party needs to sit up…
Peter Obi as a candidate is a force. But the party needs to take advantage of Obi’s popularity to build structures across the nation. We should stop saying things like “we don’t need structure” and say things like “We are building structures overnight”. We must stop saying things like “we no dey give shishi” and say “we give responsibly”. The saviours of a country like Nigeria must be wise like a serpent but calm like a dove.

There’s a lesson for APC, PDP and yes our beloved LP from Adeleke’s Victory.

Let me stop here and allow you to add your own lessons. What did you learn from Adeleke’s Victory in Osun State?
