Tears of Joy as Amb Nwaofufe Builds, Donates Brand New House to Widow (Photos)

In the spirit of the 2021 Christmas celebration, an Abuja-based Philanthropist and Founder of Charles Chima Foundation, Amb. (Dr.) Charles Chima Nwaofufe on December 24th brought succour to the downtrodden by gifting a newly built and fully furnished 3 bedroom bungalow to a widow in his Umumba Ndiagu Community of Ezeagu Local Government Area of the state.

The widow, who was said to have been without a house since the demise of her husband, could not hide her joy as she betray*d emotions and broke down in tears, singing praises to God Almighty for changing the narratives of her life and family through Charles Chima Foundation.

Accompanied by friends and business a*sociates to the carnival-like event which held at the Community’s Primary School field, the Philanthropist extended similar acts of kindness to people of the locality by donating Christmas packages to the residents to help celebrate the yuletide, in his usual charity outreach to the people.

These included 1,000 bags of rice, cash gifts of N5,000 each to 1,000 indigent people particularly the widowers, widows, physically challenged, orphans and other less privileged members of the locality.

Addressing journalists during the exercise, Amb. Nwaofufe said it was one way he chose to celebrate the yuletide in his community. He added that within available resources, the Charles Chima Foundation will continue to carryout philanthropical projects that will impact positively on the lives of his people.

Meanwhile, the 1,000 beneficiaries of Chima’s act of benevolence could not hide their joy as they danced to high praises. Some of the excited residents who spoke in the community thanked the Philanthropist for his kind gesture, praying that God Almighty will continue to bless his Foundation. The beneficiaries poured prayers on him and his household, saying God will take them to greater heights.

One of the beneficiaries has this to say: “Honestly, there is no gainsaying the fact that Amb. (Dr.) Charles Chima Nwaofufe is a good man with a large heart. He has at different times and occasions demonstrated this good virtues of his beyond argument. One can doubt what one hears but certainly not what one sees. It is said that proof of a fact is by credible evidence which suspends arguments. The evidence of Charles Chima’s goodness and kindness to humanity and the fact that he is undoubtedly a generous giver is too obvious that even the blind can conveniently feel it”, adding, “may God grant us wisdom and the heart to emulate the unique lifestyle of Amb. Nwaofufe, so we also can learn that in giving we receive.”

The traditional ruler of the Community was also not left out of the Christmas largesse, as Amb. Nwaofufe in his usual style, first paid a courtesy visit with his entourage to the palace of the traditional ruler, where numerous befitting royal Christmas gifts were presented to the father of the community; including a giant animal with four legs and a very fat envelop.

A prayer session was held in honour of the Philanthropist. During this time, the Parish priest and other carefully select seven Christian mothers representing the various villages, profusely pray*d for more blessings, long life, divine protection and God’s intercession in all that concerns Amb. Nwaofufe, who derives joy in putting smiles on the faces of the needy.
