Old Nollywood Had Better Storytelling – Kanayo O. Kanayo (Video)

Kanayo O Kanayo, the actor-turned-lawyer, says past Nollywood movies had better storytelling even though there was low technical support at the time, Igbere TV reports.

The movie star was reflecting on the current state of things in the movie industry in a recent Instagram post.

The film star had shared a throwback movie scene of himself and Charles Okafor, his colleague.

In a terse post accompanying the video, the actor wrote: “This period witnessed better storytelling, lower technical support.”

Kanayo made his acting debut in ‘Living in Bondage,’ a 1992 Nollywood classic.

The 59-year-old has established himself as a household name in the movie industry since then with several awards and recognition to his credit.

Kanayo had earlier hit back at critics who taunted him for playing ritual roles in films.
