Seyi Tinubu, son of former Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu, has urged pop star Davido to do a free concert for his fans following the cash he has raked in since he launched N1 million challenge on Wednesday.
Mr Tinubu said in a post on Instagram story on Thursday that the singer had begun a new wave.
“Davido, you have started a new wave… Make I call you out? You have to do free concert for your fans o. 30BG Gang,” the media practitioner said.
David had announced that the total sum gathered from the challenge had exceeded N150 million and the new target was now N200 million.
While opening an account dedicated to this purpose, Davido stated that he has always been on the giving side, and now it was his turn to receive. He told his friends that the money is proof of their friendship and loyalty to him.
Celebrities such as Obi Cubana, Don Jazzy, Naira Marley, Mr Eazi, Zlatan, Phyno, Patoranking, Dorathy Bachor, Teni, Cubana Chief Priest and Adekunle Gold have made their own donations.
