The management of Children House Nursery & Primary Schools at Quarry Road, Abeokuta area of Ogun State has on 17th of November, 2021 expelled a Kindergarten-2 (KG-2) pupil identified as Alfred for lateness after the said pupil arrived the school premises at about few minutes pass 8:00am as against the school 7:45am deadline
According to IGBERE TV correspondent who was at the scene of the incident, there was an intense argument and uproar between the pupil’s relative(father, mother and grandmother) and the school management was enshrouding, report that, related incidences have been a reoccurring incident by the above mentioned school management, stating that some teachers have been recently sacked due to this said similar lateness issue while defaulting students have always been receiving gross punishments but further specified from gathered reports that this is the first recorded case where defaulting ward (student/pupil) will get expel as punishment.
