The Zenith Labour Party in the Anambra State governorship election has collapsed its structure to join Accord Party, Igbere TV reports.
The party made this officially statement today, at the signing of peace accord by all the governorship candidates participating in the Anambra State election.
The Legal Adviser of Zenith Labour Party Mr Chinedu Umeoji said the party decided to join Accord Party because of exceptional qualities of Dr. Godwin Maduka, who is the Accord Governorship Candidate.
He also cited need for Ndi-Anambra to come out en-mass and support a trusted son of the land who will take the State to another level.
Meanwhile, the move by Zenith Labour party turns a good omen as other parties in the State, has collectively resolved to join and support Accord party to ensure that Dr. Maduka wins at the poll.
In a related development, Dr. Godwin Maduka had separate town hall meetings with Laity Nnewi Diocese and Laity Ekwulobia Diocese. The Laity council of the dioceses, who received him with a rousing affirmation, gave him assurance of massive support at the poll on Saturday.
