Attack on NDA: Afghanistan Swiftly Closing in on Us – Ochu | #IgbereTV
I was in NDA with one of my army classmates sometimes in 2007. From Zaria to NDA is just about 20 minutes drive and accessing the academy is not a come chop business as rigorous routine check is done per minute per second.
The Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA) is about 3 to 4 kilometers away from the express road and has no immediate or sorounding neighbors.
The defense academy itself is built on a mountain top which kinda serve as a security mechanism to the academy. You can’t trek to the academy from the express road or back access road without being seen by any security personnel.
There are too many check points in and around the NDA and there’s a top tower around the NDA with one or two army personnel mounting it 24/7.
With the too many sophisticated weapons and security personnels in NDA, the bandits were still able to attack, kidnapped and carry out some damaging effects on the commission.
If the bandits can attack our superior NDA, then, we may not be too far from Afghanistan experience and this just confirmed the fear of some people in some quarters that the Nigeria army has been infuriated by the too many ”surrendered” boko baram and bandits.
Nigeria is gradually towing the way of the Afghanistan and soon, our eyes will surely open.
